American pizza and pasta franchise California Pizza Kitchen will open in Australia for the first time, with a Perth restaurant opening at Hillary’s Boat Harbour.

California Pizza Kitchen Perth has replaced Jetty’s Restaurant.

California Pizza Kitchen is a casual dining restaurant chain focused on California-style pizza. The chain started in 1985 in Beverly Hills, California (home of Hollywood stars and Los Angeles elites) by attorneys Rick Rosenfield and Larry Flax.

The chain is now in 13 countries, but Australia hasn’t had a restaurant until now.
