Had too many drinks last night? Well you’re in luck as Australia has opened up it’s first ‘Hangover Clinic’.
Most of us have been there. Waking up the day after thinking what the hell did I do last night?!?
Long gone could be the days of lying in bed too scared to move or open your eyes – sleeping the day away to get past the hangover. Gone could be the days of doing a Maccas run to load up on greasy food and post mix Coke.
While the hangover.clinic is not in Perth (no doubt it will be soon), the hangover.clinic promises to have its patients refreshed in 30 minutes with its “revolutionary” treatments to relieve the symptoms of hangovers as well as the flu, jetlag and sports dehydration.
The hangover.clinic came from co-founder Max Petro spending time working as a ski instructor in Australia and the US; after a night out on the après ski and schnapps the ski patrol team would always be fresh the next morning despite the shenanigans of the previous night. Asking how they did it, he was let in on an old ski patrol secret – IV fluids, oxygen, and painkillers to relieve the symptoms of hangovers (which they were able to administer as qualified paramedics). Fast forward to today and the hangover.clinic is bringing the old ski patrol secret to Sydney.
But how much does this miracle hangover cure cost? Packages start from $140 (Jump Start) and go as high as $200 (Resurrection) to make sure you get back on your feet ready to take on the rest of the weekend. However no hangover cure comes with a time machine to take back any embarrassing moments.
