Kicking off our list of the best burgers in Perth is the sensational RoyAl’s.
If you haven’t made a stop in here, can we suggest you do it ASAP.
Slinging out all the goodness of juicy American style burgs and fried chicken, they’re absolutely nailing it on all sides. Wrap your hands around one of their next level burgers to really dial it up a notch, featuring mac n cheese, pulled pork, triple beef and much much more.

2. Bad Love Burger Co
You’ve likely heard the hype surrounding Bad Love Burger Co, and we can confirm it’s well deserved.
From the legends behind Smashburger BBQ pop-up, they’ve got the iconic smashed patty down pat – plus an absolutely drool-worthy fried chicken burger. And have you seen their dirty hot tots or loaded fries specials? Featuring everything over time from buffalo sauce and sriracha covered potato goodness to onion-smashed beef grilled Oklahoma style, we can never get enough.

3. Compton Burgers
When you’re after a hump day burger fix, Compton Burgers will have you covered with their $10 burger Wednesdays.
This place is seriously good, and they don’t stinge on the serving size so come in on an empty stomach. The Marilyn Bunroe is our pick of the bunch, with two crispy chicken tenders, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles and chipotle mayo- drool!

4. Two Stacks
Up there with some of the best darn smash burgers we’ve ever tried, Two Stacks has well and truly earned its place in the Perth burger hall of fame.
No trip to Freo is complete without a stop here. The menu keeps it super simple, but every option is 10/10. We can’t recommend enough, especially the Out-N-In. Heaven!

5. Ryan John
A hidden gem in Heathridge, Ryan John is quietly cooking up some of the best burgers in town from their unassuming little cafe.
No fancy tricks needed, the burgers here are just simply delicious and don’t break the bank. Must-tries include the Double Luke, Aussie Burger, Bacon Deluxe and Ragin’ Cajun, plus they put on creative specials announced over socials every Friday night – but you’ll have to get down early to score it.

6. Short Order
Another pop-up turned permanent success, Short Order is killing it with their super soft buns and hand-made beef patties.
It’s the perfect lunch stop location for a little burger pick me up, with the Nashville hot chicken or BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger being our favourite go-to. Expect a wait, but it’s worth it.

7. Hoodburger
Any Perth burger hunter will be well aware of Hoodburger’s rep as the best in town over the years, confirmed by the usual long lines anytime you pay a visit.
Raved about for its insane cheeseburgers, its succulent flavours and huge chip servings that have kept loyal customers coming back again and again. It’s also the perfect hangover cure, so pop in on a Sunday to revive yourself with some of the best burgers in Perth.

The Perth burger crowd are super passionate about this little Landsdale local.
Christo’s family run lunch bar is seriously acing it on the chicken burger front, nailing the perfect balance of oh so crispy and oh so moist. No matter how packed the space gets, you’ll always find the staff serving up super friendly vibes and slinging out a 10/10 feed every time.

9. 3230 Smoke & Grill
O-M-G good burgers in insane stacks, 3230 Smoke & Grill is slowly becoming a new favourite and a must-have on any burger list.
Their smoked meats are melt in your mouth good, and stacking them up is highly encouraged by staff. We love a good spicy fix, and their Flamin’ smashed beef patty, Spiced Bird and Hot Chick have our hearts.

10. Charlies BBQ
Pull on your loosest pants and head to Charlies BBQ for a huge burger fix that will quite literally put you in a food coma.
They’re always coming up with insane and creative new monthly specials, previously whipping up a pizza/burger hybrid with pepperoni and double smash beef pattie and fried chicken with a maple habanero butter bath and crispy bacon on a bed of mac n’ cheese.

11. Big Rigz Burger Co
As the name suggests, Big Rigz Burger Co is serving up some giantly good burgs in Freo.
You won’t even know where to start with a jam-packed menu suitable for anyone, from juicy beef and buttermilk fried chicken to vegan and vego options. Their loaded fries are also super good if you want to pack on the calories (may as well, you’ve come this far).

We will never not recommend Burger Freak for their whacky menu of goodies.
They are cooking up some absolutely wild creations that will require a commitment to finish, but so, so worth it. They’ve perfected the gooey cheese ratio and crispy bacon technique, and they also serve up killer Monsta Shakes you’ll struggle to get through after a meal.

13. Meet & Bun
We, along with many other Perth burger lovers, regularly frequent Meet & Bun.
You’ll love every bite of their handcrafted burgers, with so much juicy goodness you’ll for sure need a handful of napkins.
Our top picks are the Dark Knight, Chilli Chilli Bang Bang and Danny’s Southern Fried Chicken. It would also be rude not to grab their cheesy fries on the side, we don’t make the rules.

If you really want to up the greasy pub burger factor, then chill out at Generous Squire with a pint in hand and some banging burger deals.
Monday to Thursday you can feast on their snack pack for just $19 with a signature smashed patty cheeseburger, chicken tenders, a side of mash and gravy plus a gooey pot of melted cheese to dip everything in for an extra $5. You’ll be rolling out of here after lunch.

Peach Pit is the ultimate Scarbs hangout, sitting pretty beachfront in a laidback lush pub setting.
