The 2016 Town of Vic Park Arts Season continues, with buskers taking to the Albany Highway Strip to celebrate across the next few weeks.

Vic Park is one of Perth’s most dynamic and engaged areas, with fantastic restaurants, bars, pubs and cafes to check out.

In May a number of performances will take place on the Streets of Vic Park, so there is plenty of atmosphere around.

Let’s take a look at what’s on offer:

Ari Davis at AntzinYaPantz

Get down to enjoy some great music and maybe Perth’s best coffee at AntzinYaPantz.

From 9am to 11 am Ari Davis will be playing some relaxed acoustic tunes to keep you around.

While you browse for a new story at Crow Books, enjoy the sounds of KMA Acoustics from 10am to 12 noon on May 14.

The Park Centre

Down at East Vic Park, more acoustics from 1 -2pm on the 21st of May at The Park Centre.

‘Staff Room’ by the School of Design and Art Curtin University

Staff Room is a showcase of contemporary works by the staff and postgraduates of the School of Design and Art at Curtin University. This popular annual event is a collaborative show that exhibits the diverse creative practices of WA’s prominent art and design educators.

For 2016, the School of Design and Art looks forward to partnering with the Town of Victoria Park and to share another year’s collection of creative work with the broader community.

Showcase of Kent Street Senior High Student Artwork

An exhibition of fashion from students at Kent Street Senior High School will be displayed at the Town of Victoria Park Library.
Fashion and Design at Kent Street offers a program of study through Years 7 to 12 and was established in 1991. The course was developed to encourage creativity in young men and women.
This exhibition provides an insight into a course that provides students with both general vocational skills and skills related to employment in the fashion and design industry.
