Update: Rottnest Island Glamping: 5 Reasons to Stay at Discovery Rottnest
Reported back in September 2017, the application to glamp Rottnest Island was approved.
Now on Friday, we are now a step closer glamping on Rottnest Island. Bookings for the highly-anticipated new eco-tent accommodation on Rottnest Island will open on Friday 26 October for stays from 1 March 2019.
To mark the occasion, an eco-tent will pop up at Elizabeth Quay in Perth for a week, to give locals the opportunity to check out what to expect at the beachside holiday accommodation.
The fully-furnished Discovery Rottnest Island tent, complete with ensuite, kitchenette & deck, will be available to explore from midday on Friday 26th October, the same time as accommodation goes on sale.
Known as Discovery Rottnest Island, the eco-tents and beach club will be nestled behind the dunes of Pinky Beach and Bathurst Lighthouse.
Featuring 83 fully furnished eco tents, Discovery Rottnest Island brings an exciting new experience to Rottnest Island for locals and interstate and international tourists.

Standard (Base Camp)
These eco-tents include all the creature comforts with an ensuite bathroom, pillow topped bed, fly-screened windows and doors and private deck.

Elizabeth Quay Pop-Up Details
The eco-tent will be displayed in Elizabeth Quay, Perth, from Friday 26th October to Sunday 4th November from 8am to 6pm.
Discovery Rottnest Island Glamping Details
Accommodation bookings will open from 12pm WST, Friday 26th October online at discoveryholidayparks.com.au, or in person at the pop-up tent at Elizabeth Quay.
Accommodation prices will start at $119 per night in low season for a Standard tent, to $592 per night for a Deluxe tent in high season.
