From October 25th I have be monitoring Australia’s Twitter activity for all the horses racing in the Melbourne Cup. By analyzing Melbourne Cup Twitter activity, I am able to see the total activity for each of the horses and most importantly notice any spikes in activity – suggesting a horse becoming a late favorite.
