Individuals and families from all over Perth are strongly encouraged to register to be a part of this great event via the Dance for A Cure website: www.danceforacure.com.au. Now in its fourth year Dance for A Cure has always left participants thrilled, excited and eager to keep dancing, with those who didn’t register disappointed – wishing that they had, so don’t delay and register now. This event aims to raise awareness and funds for CLCRF to continue their valued research into childhood cancer.

Lauchlan Bain, an independent Perth choreographer, has taken on the challenge of choreographing the 2016 event, creating all of the dance moves for the general public. This year’s song is Better When I’m Dancing by Meghan Trainor, which is high energy and fun for everyone. This year’s Dance for A Cure will be supported by performances from Perth Modern, John Curtin College of the Arts and Belridge Secondary College.

Australian Cricketer and Perth Scorchers Coach, Justin Langer, Patron for the Children’s Leukaemia & Cancer Research Foundation Inc, is incredibly supportive of Dance for A Cure 2016.

“While my daughters keep reminding me that I am not a great dancer myself, I really love seeing everybody else getting out there for the kids and dancing to find a cure. Maybe one day I’ll dance… for the right donation of course, but until then, keep dancing, it means a lot to a great deal of people!”
