This year for International Womens’ Day, we’re doing something pretty special.

We’re supporting Dress For Success and taking part in their Empower Hour to help inspire, empower and support all our beautiful WA women needing a little extra help – and we want you to join us.

Who Is Dress For Success?

Dress For Success is a WA-based charity that is part of a global movement for change. They support vulnerable women to achieve economic independence by providing them with professional clothing, career development workshops, and one-to-one job application support.

Some services they provide include:

• An in-person boutique with one-on-one styling sessions so women can find professional clothing they feel great in.
• Career support workshops and mock interviews with experienced professionals.
• Regional outreach by travelling to rural areas and providing its services.
• Clothing sales fundraisers in West Leederville for any excess items that have been donated.
• Support for women in the justice system.
• Virtual styling support services and clothing delivery.

Any and all women, trans and non-binary people are welcome here, and no one who needs help is ever turned away.

This year for the 2022 International Women’s Day, Dress For Success is launching Empower Hour, a movement aiming to #BreaktheBias and support hundreds of women in need of financial stability and employment.

The task is simple, but the impact is huge – all we ask is that you consider donating one hour of your pay to support a woman in need.

Your hour donation is more than just a gift, it’s an investment in the future. When women work, families thrive, communities prosper, and the economy grows.

What Your Donation Can Do

Every dollar counts towards changing her life.

• $25: Provides a woman one-on-one resume drafting support with an HR / Recruitment Specialist.
• $50: Provides a woman resume drafting and mock interview support to help her secure and nail that interview.
• $150: Provides access to three professional development workshops, facilitated by experts in their field.
• $200: Provides a woman with a styling session with a fashion stylist and clothing and accessories for that all-important interview.
• $350: Provides the support a woman needs to move from welfare to the workforce – professional clothing and access to digital workshops, resume, and mock interview support.
