High Tea At Crown And Raise Money For Breast Cancer While You’re At It

Celebrate the return of spring and sunshine with a new high tea offering, which includes a $5.00 donation to support people living with breast cancer.

Crown Perth is the home of high tea — with a range of new seasonal offerings taking centre stage this spring. During October, Crown will donate $5.00 from every high tea sold in the lobby lounge to Breast Cancer Care WA. This includes the famous Pink Gin High Tea which has become an annual fixture in the Crown calendar.

Until Sunday, November 10th, guests can indulge in three-tiers of sweet and savoury delights, including baked dark chocolate tarts, pear and lime sultana scones, matcha green tea cake, and pulled pork sliders. This can also be paired with a refreshing Gordon’s Pink Gin cocktail, flowing sparkling wine, or teas such as Arabian mint and honey or rose and French vanilla.

Crown is also offering a very special takeaway high tea option — for a limited time only — at Crown Metropol’s Lobby Lounge. For every $130.00 stand (which generously serves two people) sold, $5.00 will be donated.

Crown Perth CEO Brian Pereira said Crown is proud to support Breast Cancer Care WA’s incredible work in the community.

“For more than 20 years, Breast Cancer Care WA has provided specialist breast care nursing, counselling, and financial and practical support to women and men affected by breast cancer, as well as their partners and families, throughout the WA community, completely free of charge,” Pereira said.

“We are thrilled to support this initiative which has previously raised more than $40,000 for Breast Cancer Care WA.”

Breast Cancer Care WA CEO Max Clarke said proceeds from the high teas directly support the organisation’s evidence-based Living Well program, which offers a holistic, community-based approach for breast cancer survivors and metastatic clients.

“Breast cancer doesn’t end once treatment stops and many survivors continue to face ongoing challenges and unmet needs, with medical oncology staff reporting multiple barriers to providing survivorship care,” Clarke said.

“This program is a significant opportunity for us to make a meaningful impact and better serve our community.”

The dine-in experience starts at $65.00 per person including a sweet and savoury platter to share with unlimited flowing tea and coffee. Or, guests can enhance their experience with additional packages, featuring a glass of sparkling wine ($70.00), a Gordon’s Pink Gin cocktail ($80.00), or flowing sparkling wine ($105.00).

Takeaway high tea

The takeaway high tea is available for collection at 11:00 am or 1:30 pm daily, from Tuesday, October 1st. All you need to do is place an order online — at least 48 hours in advance — and select the pick up time. Pick it up from the Lobby Lounge in the Crown Metropol Lobby. And then enjoy it in the location of your choosing, be it on the banks of the beautiful Swan River, in the nearby Burswood Park, or the comfort of your home.
