Chevron Australia and Brookfield will develop a new 29-storey multi-use $360 million tower at Elizabeth Quay.

Brookfield to build Chevron’s Australian headquarters in Perth, with thousands of jobs set to be created in the heart of our city.

The tower will include more than 54,000 square metres of office floor space and incorporates exhibition spaces, a lobby and conference facilities.

Located on the corner of The Esplanade and Barrack Street, the building’s lower levels will include childcare and gymnasium space with retail tenancies and café/restaurants on the ground floor, to activate large areas of open plaza facing into Elizabeth Quay.

In December 2018, the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority granted Chevron Australia development approval for the site.

In recommending the proposal for approval, the Central Perth Land Redevelopment Committee noted the unique architectural design and a mix of commercial, dining and entertainment, retail and community land uses that will complement Elizabeth Quay.

The development will provide more jobs, maximising local development industry involvement including equipment and services, with the peak construction workforce expected to reach 1,000 onsite.

Chevron have committed to lease approximately 78 per cent of the tower for a 15-year period as the anchor tenant. Construction is expected to commence in mid-2020.
