Hunt down Perth’s best chips.
Crispy, crunchy, salty, sinfully delicious. Does anyone on earth not love chips? And if you’re putting your hand up to say yes, we’re totally not on board with your response because here at So Perth, they are life.
No menu is complete without them, and yet there’s a heap of variety on offer at cafes, bars and restaurants throughout our city. Piping hot, potato heaven is beckoning you.
Brooklyn Lounge
Scarborough’s resident Brooklyn inspired joint, Brooklyn Lounge, is the home of comfort food – with a sea breeze to accompany as a cherry on your soda.
Their standard fries are oh so satisfying, but it’s their loaded fries that have caught our attention. Philly cheesesteak fries ($15) which are topped with steak, mushroom, onion and provolone cheese, the pulled pork fries ($15) topped with pork, bbq sauce, bacon, parmesan, jalapenos and queso, and the mac & cheese fries ($15) which also have bacon crumb and parmesan. Loaded up is the way to go here!

Basically you’re paying $1 per flavour combination! What you’ll get: waffle fries, sweet potato fries, beer battered chips and tater tots.
