Core Cider’s annual winter festival Fire, Fable & Feast is back on Saturday, August 10 for a night of fire, food, fables and fun.
Fire, Fable & Feast is Core Cider’s most exciting annual event, bringing the community together to bless the apple trees and toast to a successful harvest.
The festival is held in and around Core’s Apple Shed in the magical picturesque orchard in Pickering Brook on Saturday, August 10.

Fire, Fable & Feast is based on Wassail, an ancient pagan practice of casting away bad energy, scaring off evil spirits, and singing songs to bless the orchard.
Festival goers arrive in their best medieval outfits and some pots and pans (to make a racket), eat hearty Core Cider food, sing the Wassail song around a big bonfire and toast the trees with mulled cider in Core’s Apple Shed.
Fire, Fable & Feast is a festive winter celebration for the whole family.
Entertainment includes a live band to get your group dancing, an impressive fire twirler and jester for extra hijinks and Instagrammable photos.
Mulled cider is offered on arrival, and warm food will be roving to satisfy hungry bellies.
There will be a three-course meal option for those wanting to a sit-down dinner before the festivities.
