The ultimate way to discover hidden wineries in Bickley Valley and Swan Valley is with small craft tour operator – Hidden deTours, as they launch two new public tours in August and September.
The debut of both hidden wine tours is timely, as Perth Hills is set to launch a new integrated tourism brand soon, which includes the Cities of Kalamunda, Armadale and Swan, and the Shires of Mundaring and Serpentine Jarrahdale.
Bickley Valley
Hidden deTours is the longest-running tour operator offering private group tours to the Bickley Valley. Visitors to Perth are now able to ‘buy per seat’ with the launch of the Bickley Valley Wine and Cider Tours available to the public from Saturday 21st September.
The Bickley Valley Wine and Cider trail is still quite the secret; however, interest is growing as word begins to spread. Monique Boucher, from Hidden deTours often receives calls from Perth locals, even in Kalamunda, who aren’t aware this incredible wine and food destination is right on their doorstep.
Swan Valley
In the neighbouring valley in the City of Swan, Hidden deTours also shines a light on small family operators and what makes them so unique.
The Swan Valley Hidden Delights Tour features an array of wineries, breweries, cider houses, distilleries and food producers. Each tour is different, based on the changing season and showcases the wide variety in the valley. This tour launches on Saturday 31st August.
Both hidden wine tours focus on the quality and craftmanship of the Perth Hills, with some producers selling small batch product that can only be bought from their venue alone.
The focus on hidden venues allows locals and visitors to try something new and explore the other side of the Swan Valley, or traverse to new territory and enjoy the wineries, cider houses and orchards in the beautiful Bickley Valley.
