East Perth is abuzz with restaurant or cafe goers on the regular seeking a quality feed.
This gorgeous little ‘burb is pretty much picture perfect with waterfront townhouses, stylish little boutiques, bars, and restaurants. If you find yourself around this neck of the woods stop in for a coffee and bite at 7 of the best cafes in East Perth.
Toast Cafe
Toast keeps it low-key, but that doesn’t mean they skimp on the quality of their all-day breakfast menu.
Perch up outside and look out over the water while you indulge in avo smash, pork belly pickled cabbage on toast, nasi goreng and deluxe milkshakes or freshly squeezed juice.

Kinky Lizard Espresso Bar
Simple is the name of the game at Kinky Lizard, whipping up house blend coffee, burgers, and classic breakfast plates.
Their specials are where it’s at for us, including a brekky bruschetta (drool), french benny, and stacked brekky burger.

Duotone
Duotone became famous for their past delicious toast combos, and they’re still cooking up a storm of toasties, bagels and healthy eats for your mid-morning pick me up.
We love their breakfast wrap, chilli chicken toastie, or chicken avo panini topped off with a cup of coffee.

Higher Grounds
Higher Grounds is a gem of a find.
If you love a good reuben sandwich then these guys apparently have one of the best around town, and their coffee and homemade cake go down a treat to finish.

Cactus Kitchen
Cactus Kitchen is the perfect place for a quiet coffee catch-up or brunch business meeting.
Their kitchen is serving up flavourful breakfast, brunch, lunch, and daily fresh baked goods – plus they are puppy friendly so your BFF can tag along.

3 Quarters Topped Up Cafe
This little cafe is often pretty abuzz with workers and locals chasing their coffee fix.
They open their doors bright and early for the morning crowd, and you’ll always be welcomed with a friendly smile and top-notch service.
