A Leading Sustainable Brew-Pub Is Set To Open In Perth

3 Ravens is planning to come to Perth

3 Ravens has announced its plans to open a Perth brew-pub, and you can be part of it.

Our brew-pub scene is about to welcome a Melbourne fave.

3 Ravens, Melbourne’s oldest independent brewery, has announced plans to open a Perth venue that are now in the works.

They specialise in experimental brews, pioneering new styles of craft beer in Australia that are now commonplace on bottleshop shelves like hazy IPA, sours, wild fermented ales, barrel aged, and fortified beers.

From humble beginnings in the warehouse of an engineering business 18 years ago to now producing six all year round beers and over 25 seasonal releases each year, 3 Ravens have undoubtedly put their stamp on the world of beer – and we’re set to get a slice.

Alongside the opening, the brewery has launched its first equity raise to expand to more cities and introduce new circular, sustainable tech into their brew-pub, meaning the doors are open for Australians everywhere to own their stake in one of Australia’s most innovative craft beer producers.

The crowdfunding campaign will be launched via Birchal, and support will be used to fuel the construction of a state of the art, sustainability focused brewery upgrade. This technology will reduce 3 Raven’s energy consumption by over 70%, so big ticks for the environment!

A set up like this will also pave the way for other breweries and showcase how they to can reduce their carbon footprint by adopting the same processes.

3 Ravens Head Brewer Brendan O’Sullivan grew up in Perth and is excited about the movement that this new venue can bring.

“Perth is home to some of Australia’s best and most creative brewers, including a lot of members of our own team. It’s also where I grew up, so for a lot of us it’s kind of a homecoming,” he said. “It’s a really exciting prospect to bring not only our beer to Perth, but our expertise and sustainable focus to the local community and hopefully showcase how other breweries can also reduce their carbon footprint.”

The new Perth location will be the first step for wider expansion, with plans to expand their current space in Thornbury and sights set on possible openings in Sydney and Brisbane.

For those passionate about sustainable, independent brewing, 3 Ravens crowdfunding campaign on Birchal is open for expressions of interest now, with open funding beginning in a few weeks.
