A quirky little cafe in Fremantle, Duck Duck Bruce serves up the classics along with some of their own delicious and inventive concoctions.
The menu item names alone have us won over, with things like the Rhubarbra Streisand, Orange Is The New Stack, Auber Jean Is Not My Lover and We’re Going To Need A Bigger Boat. This place doesn’t take itself too seriously, and we dig it.

2. Little H
Sibling to coastal favourite Little Bay, Little H shares the same crisp white interior and plant-covered walls tucked in the back streets of Duncraig.
Everything here is just so good, but you’ll usually find us grabbing the big H, avocado toast or pavlova pancakes alongside a fresh-squeezed juice or creamy coffee.

3. Cafe Elixir
Hidden among the shopping centres in Wanneroo, Cafe Elixir has a breakfast menu bursting with options and flavour.
Their breakfast wraps and burgers put others to shame, and if you’re craving something a bit sweeter their ‘pancake corner’ will have you fixed right up, while probably also forcing you to unbutton the top of your pants.

There are a few namely coastal gems scattered about in Perth, and Swell is a definite standout.
It’s the perfect spot to spend your morning with balcony views overlooking the ocean at Mullaloo beach while tucking into a nourish bowl full of heaps of goodness, stacked bacon eggs benedict, or a seriously big breakfast.

Mary Street Bakery needs no introduction.
You can find a few of them around Perth, all with the same ambient corner cafe vibes and tasty food. If you want to go doughnuts for breakfast (because why not?!) they have some of the best, and we’re always tempted by their packed bacon and egg roll on a morning stop-in.

Offering both takeaway options or dine-in, Daisies in Cottesloe is a super cute little joint to hit up if you’re feeling like something fresh and healthy in the morning.

The smashed avo here is our first choice followed closely by their StreetX chicken croissant. Yes, that’s fried chicken in a croissant.

Pastel pinks and bright whites will make you feel like you’ve stepped straight into your aesthetic Pinterest dream at Someday Coffee Co.

Industrial elegance meets rustic old car garage- that’s what you’ll get from Gordon Street Garage.

Sitting right on the coast, Little Bay radiates Hampton’s vibes along with stellar breakfast dishes and glorious ocean views.
They’ve definitely been raising the bar for breakfast dishes over their time- we’d recommend scrambled eggs with added chorizo or buttermilk fried chicken waffles. If you’re looking for a quick coffee pit stop on a coastal walk they also have a takeaway window round the side for your convenience.

Cottesloe locals and anyone in the know will be well aware of this corner deli cooking up the best cinnamon scrolls in Perth. Seriously, we can’t rave about them enough.
