Buzzing morning, noon and night, Mount Lawley is a long-time favourite destination to grab a drink, kick back, and people watch.

The area’s famed Beaufort Street has gone through many changes over the years, with its famous café residents, Mary Street Bakery and Lawley’s Bakery opening outlets all over Perth due to immense popularity. Once the sun goes down, the strip does not sleep with many places open till late including Italian Riviera-inspired bar Si Paradiso, Ellington Jazz Club and small bar Clarence’s Bar and Courtyard drawing crowds. 

Accessibility into the city is excellent too, with frequent bus connections along the strip. If you’re wanting to be in touch with the great outdoors, Hyde Park is a short stroll away from the Beaufort strip and is a place to chill with a good book under the trees and with a coffee in tow.

Famously known as the Cappuccino Strip, South Terrace is Fremantle’s main drag and home to many coffee shops, bars and restaurants, boutiques and most notably, the heritage-listed Fremantle Markets.
