The New City of Perth Library

PerthLibIf you haven’t checked out the new City of Perth Library, put it on the top of your list.

Located next to the Perth Town Hall and the Cathedral Square precinct, the new City of Perth Library is worth visiting for the stunning architecture and interior design alone.

With a dedicated kids level, there are loads of free activities for little ones including Rhyme Time and Story Time.

Enjoy reading books in the story telling zone, playing games and chilling out in the stunning library interior.

Scitech Planetarium

scitech-planetariumWe love the Scitech planetarium – You’ll be mesmerised with the planetarium shows including live sky tours, ‘We Are Aliens’ narrated by Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint and ‘Capturing The Cosmos’ narrated by award-winning Actor Geoffrey Rush.

‘We Are Aliens’ is a fascinating 360-degree immersive journey exploring evidence of alien life in our galaxy.

‘Capturing The Cosmos’ explores the concept of all-sky astronomy, highlighting the research being carried out by astronomers in Australia, including from telescopes at the Murchison Wide-field Array facility in WA.

‘Dark Universe’ opens late September, exploring the darkest mysterlies of our Universe.

The Nostalgia Box Video Game Museum

The Video Game Museum showcases over 100 consoles from the 1970’s through to the 2000’s – your kids will be able to see what gaming looked like in the ‘olden days!’

UWA Earth and Science Museum

An out-of-this-world experience at UWA’s Edward de Courcy Clarke Earth Science Museum.

This is a great interactive experience for the whole family, where you can touch a meteorite and some of WA’s unique and unusual minerals.

Cinema Paradiso
