WA World Ocean Day
Presented by The Jock Clough Marine Foundation, WA’s official World Ocean Day event brings together two panel discussions on science, conservation, and community — accessible, engaging, and built for everyday West Australians.
With climate change, marine biodiversity, and fishing practices under the spotlight, this is a chance to hear directly from the people working on the frontlines. Whether you’re a beachgoer, fisher, family, or curious local, if you’ve got a connection to the ocean, this one’s for you.
On the night you can expect:
– A family-friendly atmosphere with ocean education front and centre – bring the kids and spark their curiosity
– Exclusive FREE 2026 WA World Ocean Day t-shirts (first come, first served, one per person – until they’re gone)
– A community mural by arts organisation Blank Walls – help bring WA’s bleached coral reef back to life, one brushstroke at a time
– Stallholders to explore, including Tangaroa Blue, the Hammerhead Hub and Shark Eyes
Entry to this event is free but registrations are encouraged via www.waworldoceanday.com
