Winter Solstice Dinner At Pearla
On Saturday 20 June, the longest night of the year, Pearla owner and executive chef Scott Bridger and the Pearla team will take to the North Fremantle Piazza – directly opposite the restaurant – to cook over fire under the winter sky. This magical, one-night-only celebration brings the primal pleasure of open-flame cooking to the heart of the neighbourhood, with guests gathering around the warmth of the coals for a shared feast.
“We’re cooking over fire on the eve of the longest night of the year to bring everyone together,” says Bridger.
“We wanted to create a night that feels special and a little bit magic – good people gathered close, great produce over the coals, and the warmth of the fire inspiring great conversation and memories to last a lifetime.”
The centrepiece is a whole fish hung over flame for hours and broken down to share, flanked by smoked oysters from the coals, rotisserie Fremantle octopus and a smoky ‘Ashes’ dessert of black sesame and burnt white chocolate.
Dinner – Set Menu: $165.00 per person
Matching wines: $75.00 per person or purchase bespoke wines of your choosing on the night
