So you’ve made it through the seemingly endless school holidays? If you’re anything like me, you’re likely quietly congratulating yourself while also wondering how you’re going to fill the time.
By this stage, a treat, a reward is in order. For all concerned.

Not everyone can pick up and head interstate or overseas, and that’s fine because you really don’t need to. We have plenty going on in our own back yard.

I’m a Holiday Inn fan because of their Kids Stay and Eat Free policy.
While I haven’t stayed at Perth’s own Holiday Inn, I can vouch for the policy via stays at a number of other Holiday Inn resorts.
Up to two children under 18 stay free (many hotels cut off the free-kids offers at 12, 16 at most) using existing bedding.
Breakfast is free, and if Mum and Dad order lunch or dinner, kids eat free.
This is a great budget-friendly option, if you’re trying to keep the cost of your city break to a minimum.

Mounts Bay Waters Apartment Hotel
If you prefer to have space for your family to spread out, then this is for you.
There are two outdoor swimming pools, flat screen televisions with Foxtel, free wifi, and you’re close to King’s Park and the CBD.

Up to 3 bedroom apartments available, perfect for larger families.

Family friendly, central location. In addition to the space that an apartment hotel affords, Adina also offers a toy box and kids pack on request.

If you’re not keen on cooking, there are a few local restaurants offering charge-back facilities, and room service is available (limited hours).
