Lums Wine Bar is marking four years on Hay Street. It’s been years of good wine, great people, and countless late nights, and that isn’t changing any time soon. This Sunday, they’re celebrating with a proper Sunday session, complete with paella pan out the front, your favourite wines, and much more.

The Emmalene Wines crew are shouting the first round of Kooli from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with pours continuing at $8.00 for the rest of the afternoon. Kooli is the Adelaide Hills producer’s take on Txakoli, the bone-dry, lightly sparkling white from Spain’s Basque Country, poured from height and drunk very cold. It’s a natural match for oysters, which is convenient, because Lums is shucking those at $2.00 apiece all day.

Special magnums are being opened through the afternoon (wine always tastes better from a magnum), and a DJ plays from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
