At any given time or day over the coming weeks, ‘Harry the QV1 Plaza ATM’ will vend a range of complimentary food, vouchers and products.

In celebration of the newly redeveloped QV1 Plaza, QV1 (located at 250 St Georges Terrace) has created a unique ATM that will be dispensing a series of surprises and delights this winter.

Officially named ‘Harry’, as a nod to renowned architect Harry Seidler AC – designer of the iconic commercial QV1 tower, the creative ATM will be situated at the new QV1 Plaza at the corner of Hay and Milligan Street in Perth CBD. Harry will be for everyone to come and enjoy.

At any given time or day over the coming weeks, ‘Harry the QV1 Plaza ATM’ will vend a range of complimentary food, vouchers and products relating to QV1 Plaza, offering users unexpected and fun experiences. Special passcodes will be the key to unlocking the ATM. Once the code is entered on the keypad of the ATM, customers simply wait and their goodies will be dispensed.

To be in the know as to when Harry will be in action and to obtain unique codes to redeem items at specific times, people need to sign up via the website www.qv1plaza.com.au. Updates will also be posted on QV1’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

QV1 Plaza has recently been redeveloped and revitalised, creating a new food and dining destination in the west end of Perth CBD – a place for people to eat, meet, dine and relax.  Crested with a giant steel and glass ‘oculus’ structure and a living garden as the centrepiece, the dynamic space has been transformed into an urban community environment.

The cornerstone tenant is Tiny’s, an eclectic mix of restaurant, specialty liquor emporium, large indoor and alfresco bar. Tiny’s serves everything from wood-fired grill and rotisserie food, to craft beer to highball spritzes, seasonal cocktails and small batch wines while resident DJ’s spin vinyl tunes. Complementing the Tiny’s offering are casual dining and ‘grab & go’ venues. This week, Mary Street Bakery shifted from their pop up venue into a permanent premise and Eat House also opened its doors. Eat House offers a mecca of food options for both breakfast and lunch with traditional bacon and eggs, burgers and pulled pork rolls, as well as gourmet salads, a sandwich bar and freshly made juices. Over the coming weeks Freshii and Zensaki will also open, adding to the mix at QV1 Plaza.

QV1 General Manager Paul Teraci says the ATM is a fun way to celebrate the new retailers opening at QV1 Plaza, and anticipates it will create great interest. “The concept has been designed to build awareness of each retailer in an interesting, engaging and unexpected approach.

“Each time Harry the QV1 Plaza ATM is in action, it will be a compelling surprise as to what will be dispensed! For example, on one day Mary Street Bakery may give away signature donuts… and when Zensaki opens, it may be sushi that’s vended. Numbers will be limited and the ATM will only open for a limited time, so people will have to get in quick!

“The mystery and surprise element will be heightened as the person lining up in front of you may receive something different to what you receive,” concluded Mr Teraci.

Harry the QV1 Plaza ATM moved into it’s new home today and will open its dispensing device for the very first time on Friday 22nd June. So make sure you sign up to find out when and receive the code.
