The deal is set to happen as Freo prepares for a big Western Derby clash.
The deal would make Fyfe one of the highest paid stars in Australian sports history, one of only 6 AFL players earning more than $1 million per year.
After months of uncertainty and false reports Fyfe was set to head to a Melbourne club, the Dockers and Fyfe’s management are said to have reached an agreement this week, WA Today said.
Sports Journalist Tom Atkins tweeted that the deal is almost done, but a “couple more hoops” are in the way first.
Expect Nat Fyfe deal to be done soon but management says its not done yet. Couple more hoops to jump through #afl
