As the last light fades thousands of glass spheres will glow in homage to the Anzacs.

The Field of Light: Avenue of Honour will be an immersive art installation by Bruce Munro illuminating the Avenue of Honour at Mt Clarence in homage to the Anzacs who departed from Albany for the Great War.

The world-class artwork that’s set to SHINE in the south of Western Australia this October is a dazzling piece of art which will require a lot of light bulbs – over 16,000 in fact!

The Field of Light will become one of Australia’s ‘must sees’ for every traveller. Each night as it lights up against the dramatic Albany landscape, it will symbolise wild beauty, sacrifice, and courage, and honour the few to whom so much is owed by so many.

When and Where?

Adorning Apex drive along Mount Clarence, visitors will be free to wander through the dazzling display of over 16,000 lights that pay homage to the Anzacs – from October 4th 2018 until 25th April 2019.

Be sure to visit the welcome hub located at the entrance of Apex drive to pick up your free trail brochure.
