Within a couple of days, we have gone from a chilly max of 24C to now a max of 38C for Christmas day in Perth. Safe to say the original forecast was just a little bit off.
To be honest, we thought that it would be unPerth-like to have such a cold Christmas day, so it is great to see all is right with the world and more specifically Perth (in regards to weather) with a 38C day planned for Christmas.

According to BOM, from Tuesday we will see an increase in temperature throughout the week as we look to hit a high of 40C on Boxing Day.
- Monday 20/12: Max 31C
- Tuesday 21/12: Min 17C, Max 30C
- Wednesday 22/12: Min 18C, Max 31C
- Thursday 23/12: Min 20C, Max 34C
- Friday 24/12: Min 20C, Max 35C
- Saturday 25/12: Min 22C, Max 38C – Very hot and sunny. Winds east to southeasterly 25 to 35 km/h
- Sunday 26/12: Min 24C, Max 40C
Perth Christmas Day Max Temperatures
If we do hit 38 or higher it will be the second hottest Christmas day in recent memory, however, we did go through a scorcher last year with 40.4C.
