Hot Perth Weather Forecast up to 40C expected in parts of the city for March
Hot Perth is hot.
Parts of Perth are set to possibly top 40C tomorrow, with the Western Australia Weather Bureau saying the city should reach 38C (which almost certainly means suburbs are likely to see 40C+).
Air conditioners will be cranking as most people return to work and the temps starts to soar, probably higher than it’s been all last summer.
The BOM WA team says it will be hotter than today, with humidity settling in the evening for Perth.
“Very hot and mostly sunny, becoming humid in the evening,” they said.
Although a north-easterly breeze could mean hot winds for Perth in the morning, while the Freo Doctor should help out in the afternoon.
“Winds east to northeasterly 20 to 30 km/h tending westerly 15 to 20 km/h in the middle of the day then tending south to southwesterly in the evening.”
The weather is then set to moderate, with every day in the low 30’s for the next week, models suggested.
The hot Perth weather comes after one of the coolest summers in recent memory.
Perth had its mildest summer in some 18 years. The average temperature for Perth’s 2017/2018 Summer was 30.2C, surprisingly, there were no days over 40C.
The Australian Bureau of Meteorology suggests Perth could experience a warmer than average Autumn. Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra and Darwin are forecast to exceed above average temperatures.
Good luck out there Perth.
