Thinking of going to Costco today?
Costco Perth launch has no doubt brought Perth’s biggest gathering together since the government bans have been put in place.
It seems that the coronavirus crisis has not deterred Perth punters as insane crowds have gathered already at the Costco Perth opening.
How insane?
The line has wrapped around the building twice and some… and it’s a very big building!
If you wanted to be one of the first ones in the store, turns out you should have been lining up from the early hours of the morning – with some lining up from 2am this morning.
While Costco Perth was said to open at 8am. Shoppers are already leaving the store with their toilet paper as it seems they have open the doors before 8 to help get the crowd moving.
As for social distancing – this advice seems to not be in practice.

While crowds continue to fill Costco Perth the silver lining could be that this might give other shoppers to grab essentials at supermarkets around Perth and the stores a chance to restock.
