Instagram down in Perth:

End times must be near, with #InstagramDown going down right now as millions of users come to terms with the social media platform going down.

Users at time of writing were unable to refresh newsfeed on their apps. Some users said they couldn’t login.

The impact was felt across much of the world.

Outage maps suggest countries impacted include India, Australia, the US and parts of Europe.

#Instagramdown is now trending on twitter.

First reports came in around 3.45pm Perth time as we await explanation from Instagram.

#Instagramdown 2018 comes as the co-founders of the app recently left. The facebook owned site is now run by Adam Mosseri, a former head of News Feed form Facebook.
