City of Swan Mayor Mick Wainwright said the new trail would bring yet another exciting tourism experience to the region.
“While the Swan Valley is characterised by many third and fourth generation family owned wineries, there’s also a growing number of talented brewers in the region,” he said.
“This just adds to the already burgeoning mix of wineries, fresh produce and eateries and helps to make the Swan Valley an even more desirable location for local, interstate and international visitors.”
Swan Valley/Gidgegannup Ward Councillor Darryl Trease said the Cider and Ale Trail was a great example of collaboration between local businesses and the City.
“Whether you’re after a pint of crafted ale, a specialty cider or an authentic brewers experience the Cider and Ale Trail has it all,” he said.
“This is a unique opportunity for the breweries and cideries to not only promote their own products but the region and each other.”
