3 massive events at Market Grounds to feed your Spring and Summer vibes.

Market Grounds is expanding their open air space to bring back Perth CBD’s Ultimate Beer Garden: The Grounds; and it’s back for longer than ever before. 

Set to open from November 2020 to April 2021, the team have an epic line-up of Summer festivals including; the postponed Gin Tonica Festival on Sunday 29th November 2020, Perth’s First Margarita Festival Sunday 28th February 2021 and the long-awaited return of Perth’s Premier Espresso Martini Festival Sunday 25th April 2021.

Gin Tonica Festival

Gin Tonica Festival will celebrate one of the finest drinks ever created; the Gin & Tonic.

The one-day-only, botanical extravaganza will host local and international distilleries including Tanqueray, Bombay, Four Pillars, Gordon’s, Hendrick’s, Giniversity and more.

Guests can explore the huge variety of gins, learn how to lift their garnish game, enjoy roving gin-tertainment, gin-inspired treats, stalls and more.

Tickets include entry plus two Gin Tonicas of choice and can be purchased from their website.

The gintastic event which sold out in 72 hours was rescheduled from March 29th 2020 to Sunday 29th November 2020.

Perth’s First Margarita Fiesta

Market Grounds has the Margarita lovers covered too with Perth’s First Margarita Fiesta coming to The Grounds in February 2021.

Expect mariachi bands, a frozen margarita caravan bar, taco stalls, and all the tequila you can dream of with more to be announced soon.

Espresso Martini Festival

The Grounds festival series will go out with a bang with last year’s sell out Espresso Martini Festival making its return, bigger and better this April 2021.

Festival-goers can expect even more drinks, activities and entertainment including seated brunchtinis, boozy stalls and epic caffeine creations from coveted brands like Mr Black, Ketel One, Patron tequila and Grey Goose. 

Melbourne Cup

If that wasn’t enough, Market Grounds will be home to Perth’s CBD’s biggest and most luxe Melbourne Cup Party on Tuesday 3rd November.

Punters can take their pick from five different experiences on the day including a lavish Melbourne Cup luncheon, alongside DJ’s, fashion shows and a dedicated Fins Seafood bar.

Tickets will sell out for this premium event so stay tuned for release dates.

Rounding off the weekends, Market Grounds’ signature Long Lunch series will reign supreme with a seasonal curated menu and bottomless cocktail offerings from the likes of Chambord, Aperol and more. 

With so many festivals & events on offer, The Grounds is shaping up to be Perth’s go-to spot for the warmer spring and summer months.
