The multi-purpose leisure complex, which will feature gardens, jetties, bars and dining facilities, is planned for Point Fraser, located in East Perth between the Causeway and Riverside Drive, right by Heirisson Island. Ku De Ta Perth will allow patrons to enjoy sweeping views of the river and westwards towards Kings Park.

It will form part of the On The Point development devised by Steve and Helen Palmer, who have teamed up with Ku De Ta founding partner and Victorian-turned-Indonesian resident, Guy Neale. As Neale’s first expansion outside Bali, it will see a distinct Western Australian focus in terms of materials used and produce served.

The Ku De Ta brand defines itself as a “lifestyle destination” centred around food and beverage in a magical setting. It also prides itself on “cutting-edge design”, and London architects Permarim Rama will be taking care of this side of things for the Perth venue.

The project is due to be completed around mid-2016.
