Lachie Weller – AFL’s Most Photogenic Player Ever?

The Australian media have dubbed 19-year-old Fremantle Docker Lachie Weller as “the most ridiculously photogenic” player in the game.

The Queensland recruit ran out for the Dockers in a victory over the Greater Western Sydney Giants August 2015 in Perth. The image obsessed national media immediately took notice.

News Corp Australia’s news.com.au said Lachie Weller was “really, really ridiculously good looking” and said on their Facebook page “Oh hey girl. Why don’t we just forget about this game and go score some goals of our own?”

On his debut, Lachie Weller was “greeted by a rapturous roar from the home crowd,” the Fremantle Docker wrote.

“It’s great to have the home crowd by your side and it felt really good,” he said.

“It was really good, it was everything you expect,” he said.

“It’s another notch quicker than the level I’ve been at.

“I really enjoyed it and had some fun out there.”
