Ever since that faithful day October 21, 2015 – we all have dreamed at getting our hands on a hoverboard. It actually seems weird that we seem to be more fixated on a hoverboard than we do flying cars and instant pizza!

According to Lexus it seems the wait could almost be over. Lexus has just released a short video of what seems to be a working hoverboard, however they don’t actually show anyone riding it. They’re calling it a #LexusHover

So incase you are thinking, yeah nice joke to Lexus’s claim, they have also creates a promotional site for the hoverboard, the car company writes, “Lexus has created a real, rideable hoverboard.” Visit the site – lexus-int.com/amazinginmotion/slide/ I guess we will have to wait and see if it is in fact real – but either way I am excited for the ride and I want one! Update: Perth Physicist David Herne tells TweetPerth about the possible way the #LexusHover might work. David suggests that the secret to the hover board is in the liquid nitrogen, cooling possible superconducting magnets.
