A unique street art exhibition raising awareness and funds for people in WA doing it tough.
Raine Square is partnering with Uniting WA and UneARThed to bring you their Gratitude Gallery exhibition from January 13th – February 6th.
The gallery aims to create a platform that celebrates passion without prejudice, featuring incredible artwork pieces from five local Perth artists who have experienced homelessness. Its focus is to raise awareness on societal issues and challenges of homelessness in Perth by giving a voice to our most vulnerable community members.
The best part? You not only get to view some incredible art, but you can also help make a difference.
QR codes have been placed around Raine Square and beside each painting which will direct viewers to a biography about the artist and the story behind their piece and in turn donate $1 to Uniting WA with every scan. Money raised will go towards supporting people doing it tough throughout Western Australia with a whole range of services including housing support, mental health services and family and foster care services.
Make sure to pop down during your work break or city visit to check it out.
