The Palace Raine Square Details

Located across the entire top level of the new redevelopment, Palace Raine Square features nine traditional cinemas plus four Palace Platinum boutique screens.  All cinemas feature reclining handmade leather seats, plush interiors with state of the art digital sound and projection technology.

The new luxury cinemas will debut at an invitation-only red-carpet gala event on Monday 17 September with over 500 of Perth’s top VIP’s and industry guests, before opening the doors to the public on Tuesday morning. Palace Platinum will make its debut on 11 October.

Enjoy a range of bites in the foyer pre or post movie including platters and share plates. Alternatively, take them in with you.

Palace Raine Square will offer the best movies, comfort, special events and festivals. The cinema features two bespoke bars: a dazzling champagne bar, and a cinema rooftop terrace that overlooks Yagan Square, the nightlife of Perth City and Northbridge.

Palace Cinemas’ CEO, Benjamin Zeccola, says: “We’re excited to unveil Perth’s spectacular new cinema in just a few weeks!  With the most comfortable reclining leather seats and the best movies, Palace Raine Square is bringing cinema reimagined back to Perth City.”

The Palace Raine Square experience offers options to socialise and enjoy a pre or post movie drink and snack in the foyer with a menu offering a range of sharing plates and toasted treats.  The Bar will include classic cinema confectionary with a twist including handmade choc tops and gourmet chocolates and nuts.  The drinks menu will feature the best of WA and Australian wine regions with international highlights, along with craft beers and classic cocktails.

Palace Platinum is a transformation of the cinema experience.  Platinum customers can enjoy the exclusivity of their own private bar & lounge. The four boutique-style auditoria are fitted out with stylish décor and luxurious fully reclining seats.  Platinum customers will receive personalised call-button wait service and can choose from the carefully curated menu of drinks, small plates and more substantial meals (offering food from the best restaurants of the area).

Palace Raine Square offers a premium, yet affordable movie-going experience in the city, filling the void left by the closing of the Piccadilly Theatre 2013.

Enter the cinemas from Murray, William and Wellington Streets. Close to public transport and discount parking, Palace Raine Square sits across from the Perth Busport on Wellington Street with direct access from Perth Underground Station.
