Latest Perth COVID-19 update has seen a man jailed for repeatedly breaching Western Australia’s strict COVID-19 quarantine.

It has been reported that a 31-year-old Perth man who repeatedly breached Western Australia’s COVID-19 quarantine laws has been jailed for at least one month.

The individual escaped hotel quarantine by using a ladder to leave his hotel to visit his girlfriend.

CCTV cameras showed the man had a ladder on the roof of a car, which they put in place in the laneway for him to escape and return.

This news just comes days after the Hotel Northbridge COVID-19 breach which saw a 53-year-old man skip hotel quarantine when leaving the hospital to instead visit Hotel Northbridge and check into a nearby backpackers hotel.

More to come.
