Manchester United Legends vs PFA Aussie Legends at exclusive Perth charity game.
First there was the big news of English Premier League powerhouse Chelsea coming to Perth and now the announcement of Man United legends coming to Perth.
Football royalty will touch down in Perth next month when the Manchester United Legends play a historic charity match at nib Stadium.
Fans will have the chance to be part of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity on Saturday, 25 March when former Manchester United players – including fan favourites Paul Scholes, Dwight Yorke, Denis Irwin and Teddy Sheringham – face off against the PFA Aussie Legends, an all-star side of former Australian players.
The Best Goals, Skills and Passes of Paul Scholes
It’s the first time the Manchester United Legends have come to Western Australia and the team will be managed by former United and England captain, Bryan Robson. It’s also the first time Professional Footballers Australia has assembled a legends team, which will be coached by former Socceroos coach Frank Farina OAM.
This exclusive Western Australian event gets football lovers up close and personal with some of the legends of the game at grounds which put spectators right next to the action.
Not only will these two teams be on a mission to play highly entertaining and thrilling football for their West Australian fans, but this charity fixture will also raise money for DT38 Foundation and the Manchester United Foundation.
