You can also enjoy the landscaping, paving, seating and water fountains at Memorial Gardens, which has created a relaxing place to sit and admire the majestic Workshops buildings. The Peace Memorial, surrounded by a rose garden, commemorates the 95 railway workers who enlisted from The Workshops and died in World War I and World War II.
In the near future, as surrounding developments are completed, the space will become a lively public space surrounded by cafes, shops, restaurants and bars.
