Perth surf is up!

Perth is home to some of the best and biggest waves right now and Perth surfers are loving it.

Pro surfer Taj Burrow said it was the biggest swell he had heard of, “this swell’s off the charts,” he told ABC Perth.

Monster waves have been smashing ashore in Perth and across the south-west beaches for the last 24-48 hours – it’s thanks to a massive swell due to bad weather in the southern Indian and Souther Ocean this week.

The most epic action was in the Margaret River region south of Perth.

Huge waves were seen in the area, with one group of surfers claiming to have caught the biggest ever wave witnessed in Australia at Cow Bombie, off Gracetown.
