[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Mount Hawthorn community will showcase their urban village as they present their second annual Mount Hawthorn Streets & Laneways Festival this Sunday 1 May from 11am to 7pm.

Mt Hawthorn FestivalPresented by The Mount Hawthorn Hub, this boutique street festival attracted 35,000 people last year to the popular café strip and surrounding streets and laneways off Scarborough Beach Road, thanks to major sponsor the City of Vincent, This FREE event celebrates the diversity of the vibrant community of Mount Hawthorn.

The program for the Mount Hawthorn Streets and Laneways Festival is online now, offering up something for all ages and tastes.  There will be six stages of live music and DJs, kids zones with rides, workshops and a disco, Provedores Market, Ladybird Market stalls, pop-up laneway bars, street food, roving performers, hidden gems such as Paper Plane Alley (near Matlock Street) and wonderful adorned streetscapes featuring hundreds of colourful hanging umbrellas.
