Nat Fyfe on crutches?

The Dockers star and Brownlow Medal front runner Nat Fyfe was seen out and about in Perth today on crutches, apparently favouring his left leg. However, he should be okay to play in the Prelim in less than two weeks.

It has previously been reported that he is suffering from shin splints, and I’m sure the crutches are just a precautionary measure to ensure he is putting the least amount of pressure on his injury as possible.

After having two weeks off leading up to the finals, Fyfe returned on the weekend and impressed with 32 disposals, 8 clearances and 4 tackles. He has paid tribute to the Dockers medical and fitness staff for their work in having him prepared and ready to go on game days.

I’m sure everyone is very thankful that Fremantle have this weekend off, allowing Fyfe to rest his body a little bit longer. I’d say he is looking forward to the end of the season so that he can have some time off the field and hopefully make a full recovery.

Hang in there Fyfey.
