Holy moly, the Perth Wildcats are on FIRE!

Game One of the semi-final series against the Brisbane Bullets kicked off with a bang on Thursday night and saw the Perth Wildcats take a convincing 30-point victory. The home side went on a rampage in the second half, holding the Bullets to just four points in the final quarter, the lowest fourth quarter score in NBL history. The fan-voted MVP Bryce Cotton was named Player of the Game with 22 points, six rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block.

Nick Kay was at his brilliant best, showing everyone why he was named in the All-NBL first team, finishing with 18 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks. Terrico White was in fine form, knocking down five triples and finishing with five rebounds. Sunday Dech was a surprise package off the bench, hitting two three-pointers in his ten minutes on the court and having a positive impact on the game.

Check out the game highlights below:

The Perth Wildcats will travel to Brisbane for Game Two, which will take place at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday 2 March at 11.50am WST. Mitch Norton will travel to Brisbane with the Wildcats team however, it has not been confirmed whether or not he will return from his hamstring injury. If the Wildcats can get the job done on Saturday against the Bullets, they will secure their spot in the Grand Final, facing off against either Melbourne United or the Sydney Kings.

I’m tipping the Perth Wildcats to beat the Brisbane Bullets in Game Two by 12 points!
