Unlike last year when there were 11 Perth New Year’s Eve firework locations, this year due to COVID-19 restrictions there are only 2 Perth New Year’s Eve firework locations – Gloucster Park and Rottnest Island.

Rottnest Island
- Event: Rottnest Island Fireworks Display
- Location: Thomas Bay Rottnest Island, Rottnest Island
- Time: 9:00PM
So unless you are on Rottnest Island tonight, your best chance to welcome in the new year will be to get to Gloucster Park or the surrounds to take in their fireworks show from 11:59PM.
Transperth New Year’s Services & Schedule
To help you celebrate the new year and get home safely there will be additional services across trains, buses and ferries operating after midnight to ensure new year’s eve punters have options outside of rideshares and taxi’s to get home.
