Optus Stadium revealed their shiny new toy the BHP Amphitheatre LED Outdoor Screen.
Just how big is 142 square meter? The Optus Stadium BHP Amphitheatre 142 square metre LED outdoor screen is twice the size of that in Melbourne’s Federation Square.
As if the news of an Optus Stadium Rooftop Tour and Matagarup Bridge Zip-Line wasn’t enough Perth has gone one better to provide the ultimate outdoor experience with the BHP Amphitheatre and its giant outdoor screen.
The amphitheatre’s 142 square metre LED video screen is accompanied by a high-quality sound system, with the capacity to provide first-rate cinema and live sports experiences.
The amphitheatre will also help activate and enliven the Stadium Parklands, complimenting the existing Nature Playgrounds, BHP Boardwalk and collections of Aboriginal cultural artworks and stories.
The outdoor screen will make its debut broadcast on Saturday evening with a free live-stream of the Bledisloe Cup.
