Perth has been locked in for a day-night test match between Australia and New Zealand.

Perth’s summer of cricket for 2019 just got better.

Optus Stadium will host Perth’s first day-night Test match in December when Australia plays New Zealand under lights – the first of a 3 match test series against New Zealand this summer.

Though dates and timings for the test are yet to be officially confirmed – with the 3 hours time difference between Perth and the major east coast markets of Sydney and Melbourne play could begin at 1pm in Perth, with stumps called around 8pm in Perth.

This will be yet another win for Western Australia, and a great opportunity to further show-off Optus Stadium to national and international viewers in a different light.
