Another day, another doughnut for COVID-19 in WA.

WA continue the trend of flat lining the coronavirus curve with another 0 new cases of coronavirus within the state.

These great results are helping WA to trend towards further ease of restrictions, most notable the hospitality sector.

  • 0 new cases overnight keep WA’s total at 551
  • 4 more individuals have recovered overnight
  • 36 active cases in WA remain
  • 3 active cases are regional and are all in the Goldfields
  • 511 individuals have now recovered in total

To reiterate, Mr McGowan did state that the discussion on the loosening of restrictions in the state would be had over the coming weeks, however the decision would be on health advise first and foremost.

“There is no way we will do anything that will potentially compromise the health of West Australians.”

Northern Territory to open pubs and restaurants in May

In positive news, the NT is starting the process of getting hospitality back up and running, which could provide a look into Perth’s future if we continue to see such encouraging COVID-19 testing results.
