Latest Perth COVID-19 update see no new cases recorded overnight in Western Australia.

As we head towards a potential Phase 5 of COVID-19 restriction easing set for August 15th, in the latest Perth COVID-19 update there has been no new cases recorded overnight in Western Australia.

There are now 6 active COVID-19 cases in Western Australia – 5 are Western Australians and one is from overseas.

All active cases are currently in hotel quarantine.

To Western Australia has recorded that 626 people have recovered from coronavirus and there have been over 257,000 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. 43,335 of which were from regional WA.

Victoria continues to see new cases of COVID-19 and deaths skyrocket with another 400 confirmed cases and 13 deaths overnight.
