In the latest Perth COVID-19 update, WA sees one confirm case recorded overnight – taking the state’s total to 635.
The latest case is again from an individual returning from overseas – giving Western Australia 22 active cases.
All active cases are currently in hotel quarantine.
Of the 635 total confirmed cases 604 people have recovered from the virus.
In stark contrast to Western Australia, Victoria recorded 273 confirmed cases overnight and now has a total of 3,799 confirmed cases of which 1,484 are currently active.
It was also reported that a man in his 70s passed away due to COVID-19.
Australia’s death toll now stands at 108.
