Since Monday in Perth, there have been 2 confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded, with 3 active cases now within the state.

The new cases were confirmed on Wednesday and Thursday.

All cases were individuals returning to Perth from overseas. These included a males one in his 40s and the other in his 60s.

All active cases within WA are within hotel quarantine.

From Monday there has been 3,012 swabbed tested performed in WA – down only 7 from the previous week.

There have been 395,402 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 67,964 were from regional WA.

Western Australia continues its streak of over 5 months without community transmission of COVID-19.
